NZ drug firm AFT Pharmaceuticals is readying for a US push with both the tablet and intravenous form of its successful Maxigesic pain-relief medicine awaiting approval.The company said in a letter to shareholders published on the NZX it was evaluating its plans to ensure it gets the best outcome for Maxigesic in the US, the biggest market for pain relief.Maxigesic is a combination of the common over-the-counter pain medications paracetamol and ibuprofen.AFT said the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is due to respond to AFT’s applicat...
