New Zealand technology company Quantifi Photonics has been sold to US Nasdaq-listed electronics company Teradyne for an undisclosed sum.The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2025. Teradyne, founded in 1960, designs and manufactures automatic test equipment. Its market cap is US$16.7 billion (NZ$29.3b).Quantifi manufactures equipment to test the optical transceivers used to convert electrical data to and from optical data.Shareholders Simplicity and Pacific Channel expected Quantifi to remain operating from NZ.'V...
