NZ dollar perks up ahead of 3Q GDP

The New Zealand dollar gained against the greenback as investors take positions ahead of third-quarter gross domestic product data which is tipped to be better than the central bank expects.The kiwi was trading at 65.73 US cents at 8am in Wellington versus 65.58 cents at 5:05pm. The trade-weighted index was at 72.37 points from 72.24.“Kiwi came full circle as the market searched for direction overnight.
