NZ shares rise as investors bet on earnings results

New Zealand shares edged higher as investors bid up stocks set to report earnings in the next few days with Serko leading the market higher.The S&P/NZX 50 Index rose 18.15 points, or 0.2%, to 12,428.62. Within the index, 17 stocks fell, 27 rose and six were unchanged.
