NZ shares settle down after rally, Fonterra units jump

New Zealand shares gave back some of yesterday’s sudden rally, following the whims of global markets with little local news to trade on. The S&P/NZX 50 Index fell 96.5 points, or 0.8%, to 12,771.83.
