The NZX and the European Energy Exchange will develop and operate a managed auction service for the New Zealand Emissions Trading Scheme, a key tool for meeting domestic and international climate policy targets.The NZ ETS puts a price on greenhouse gas emissions and the primary unit of trade is the New Zealand Unit, also called a carbon credit.
