Australian tech investor Potentia is opening a New Zealand office and plans to hire up to five people as it seeks its next NZ investment, with several currently in play. The private equity firm made its second NZ investment in May when it snaffled a cornerstone shareholding in NZ Exchange-listed (NZX) movie software firm Vista. Potentia founder Andrew Gray said his private equity firm was excited about the NZ market.
