Receivers halt pursuit of Kerr docs for now

After six months or so of legal wrangling, receivers have given up trying to extract more documents from London-based businessman George Kerr, although they suspect he’s still holding out. Calibre Partners’ Neale Jackson and Natalie Burrett were appointed receivers of Kerr’s Pyne Holdings in April by the Bank of New Zealand (BNZ), which is trying to recover about $62 million from various Kerr-related entities. In their latest report on the Pyne Holdings (PHL) receivership, they noted the “significant difficulti...
