Serko shares slide as omicron disrupts

Shares in Serko dropped almost 5% today after the travel booking software firm reported the rapid spread of omicron had cut business travel volumes.Business travel volumes in December and January normally experience a seasonal reduction due to holidays, the company said, and was exacerbated this year by omicron disruption.The update didn’t say how low booking numbers had fallen but did say they had recovered to 90% of October volumes in the past week.Omicron has only just reached NZ and Serko said demand is beginning to falter in the regi...
