SkyCity Entertainment continues to bleed about $1 million a day in lost earnings as a result of ongoing covid lockdowns at its New Zealand properties.Those closures have seen its flagship Auckland precinct closed for more than 11 weeks, Hamilton offline for nearly seven weeks and Queenstown closed for three weeks.That prompted the listed casino and hospitality operator to claim an NZ government covid wage subsidy of $2.6m for its 2,400 Auckland based staff from mid-Sept.
