Investors will keep an eye on The Warehouse today after it announced it would pay back the government’s wage subsidy on the back of a positive trading performance ahead of Christmas.The company came under fire for going ahead with its restructuring at the cost of up to 750 jobs at the same time as it took about $67 million in wage subsidies.Late yesterday it said first-quarter sales for the group increased by 6.3 percent and are now up 6.6 percent for the year to date compared to the same period last year.“Sales performance to date...
