Turners Automotive Group’s chief executive officer, Todd Hunter, says he’s a super user of the insurance comparison site in which the automotive group has invested $1 million. The New Zealand Exchange-listed (NZX) company recently signed two deals: a 50% stake in vehicle repair platform My Auto Shop and a 15% shareholding in insurance startup Quashed. Hunter said the two investments were the first for the business and showed Turners was thinking about how it could extend its brand beyond its traditional business. &ldq...
