The Government has spent more than $6.2 million on a now-defunct programme to make buildings greener. The Ministry for Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) launched its Building for Climate Change (BfCC) programme in August 2021. The BfCC team was folded back into a wider performance team in June.
