Napier Port profit hits record as it handles record 5.1M tonnes of cargo

Net profit lifted 5.4 percent to $17.6 million in the year ended Sept. 30 on a 5 .8 percent increase in revenue to $91.7 million, its annual report shows. The port handled a record 5.1 million tonnes of cargo, with log exports lifting 35 percent to a record 2.2 million tonnes.
