65% of Chorus connections are fibre

More than 60% of Chorus’ network connections are now fibre broadband, with the ultra-fast broadband (UFB) provider recording 1,180,000 broadband connections in total in a Q4 FY21 update.Fibre uptake in completed UFB areas increased from 64% to 65%, with an increase of 29,000 fibre connections recorded for the period to June 30, 2021.
