AgriZeroNZ is making its first move into Australia with an A$1.4 million (NZ$1.5m) investment into Queensland startup Bovotica.Bovotica, which is developing biotechnology to reduce methane emissions from cattle, was spun out from the Queensland University of Technology. AgriZeroNZ was the lead investor in a recently completed seed funding round.Researchers have identified naturally occurring microbes in the rumen of low-methane-emitting cattle.
