Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu interim chief executive Ben Bateman will step into the role in a permanent capacity. Bateman, who has been acting CEO since Arihia Bennett stepped down seven months ago, has been appointed for a three-year term. Bateman has held various roles for the iwi.
