The European distributor of Coca-Cola has launched an almost A$10 billion bid to buy the New Zealand and Australian Coca-Cola business, Coca-Cola Amatil.In a statement to the ASX, Coca-Cola Amatil said Coca-Cola European Partners wanted to buy out shareholders via a scheme of arrangement valuing the shares at A$12.75 apiece.Coca-Cola European Partners operates in 13 countries and is the largest independent Coca-Cola bottler by revenue, the statement said.The deal represented a premium of 23 percent to the one-week volume-weighted average share...
