Crown confirms plans to participate in Air NZ capital raise

The Crown plans to participate in Air New Zealand’s planned capital raising to retain its majority stake.“Subject to Cabinet being satisfied with the terms of Air New Zealand’s proposed equity capital raise to be completed by 30 June 2021, it would participate in that equity capital raise in order to maintain a majority shareholding in Air New Zealand,” Air NZ said in a release to the stock exchange.The government currently has a 52 percent stake in the airline.In a letter sent to Air NZ, Finance Minister Grant Robertson...
