Housing NZ to offer $300m wellbeing bond

Kainga Ora subsidiary Housing New Zealand will issue $300 million of 2040 inflation-indexed wellbeing bonds in response to requests from a “real money investor.”The Crown entity said the bonds will be issued at a yield of 2.413 percent, and carry a coupon of 2.5 percent. The transaction is priced at 175 basis points above the base rate.
