Kiwis get more sick leave entitlement

New Zealanders will soon be entitled to a minimum sick leave entitlement of 10 days a year after the Holidays (Increasing Sick Leave) Amendment Bill passed late yesterday.“If covid-19 has taught us anything, it’s how important it is to stay home when you’re sick,” workplace relations and safety minister Michael Wood said.The previous entitlement was for five days.
