Massey University spinout raises $2.7m to take alt-dairy global

Palmerston North startup company ANDFOODS has raised $2.7 million in seed finance for its alternative milk products, which it claims taste far better than most of the competition.The company said it was already talking to major multinational food processors to sell its “allergen-free” non-dairy creams and milk powders after spending several years perfecting the technology at the Riddet Institute.Less than a year old, ANDFOODS is a spinout of Massey University and the institute, which is a national Centre of Research Excell...
