New Zealand and India enter MRA to improve Customs engagement

New Zealand and India have signed a mutual recognition arrangement (MRA) in New Delhi, which recognises the “Customs supply chain security standards of both countries and promotes market access for exporters between them”. The MRA will ensure that authorised exporters from both countries who meet the requirements will receive priority at their respective borders with less likelihood of inspections and “quicker clearance of their goods”. “This provides them with certainty and increased speed to market in o...
