A hearing into the New Zealand Superannuation Fund’s investment policies has commenced in the High Court at Auckland today.Justice Mark Woolford is presiding over the action taken by Fadel Kamel Mohamed, a representative for the Polisario Front for Australia and New Zealand.The NZ Super Fund invests in farms which use phosphate mined in contested territory in West Sahara.The area has been forcibly occupied by Morocco since 1975.Mohamed claims that the NZ Super Fund’s investment framework is unlawful and breaches its statutory requir...
