Tommy Parker will leave the board of Auckland Transport (AT) as he takes on the mantle of developing light rail for the city.Parker has been on the AT board since December 2020.His departure follows his appointment as chief executive of Auckland Light Rail, a crown company formed last month. He will report to Fran Wilde, who was brought on to lead the board of the light rail project team and retains that role for the crown entity.Parker said the decision to resign will allow him to focus on progressing the successful delivery of a light ra...
