Retailer DTR joins the buy now, pay later industry

DTR, which is known for offering finance for appliances and furniture sold through its stores and online, has launched its own buy now, pay later product named Easi-pay.Easi-pay is a no interest, no fees plan with payments spread out over 12 weeks, the company said.Most buy now, pay later platforms offer goods to be paid off over four or six weeks, like New Zealand company Laybuy, also with no interest payments or fees.The buy now, pay later companies earn a percentage of the amount loaned, and also charge late fees when payments are missed.In...
