Regional Development Minister Shane Jones is beginning a 15-date tour of New Zealand next month to discuss the Government’s $1.2 billion Regional Infrastructure Fund.The fund will be spread over three years and managed by Kānoa – Regional, Economic Development & Investment Unit.Applications for the fund opened on July 1. It will invest specifically in regional infrastructure projects to boost regional growth, resilience and productivity.Jones will kick off the tour in Nelson on Aug 12.
