Artificial intelligence startup Soul Machines has raised US$70 million (NZ$105m) in a Series B1 funding round led by new investor SoftBank Vision Fund 2.There was also new investment from Cleveland Avenue, Liberty City Ventures, and Solasta Ventures, and input from existing investors.Founded by Greg Cross and Mark Sagar, Soul Machines creates autonomous ‘digital people’ for brands to include in customer experience products.
