TVNZ has announced it will be screening a slate of new sporting events, including the Uefa Euro 2024 football championship later this year.The public broadcaster has also confirmed a multi-year partnership with Hockey NZ to show matches on its streaming service TVNZ+.Joining the hockey will be the mixed martial arts competition the Professional Fighters League, and 51 matches from the European football tournament being held between June and July.TVNZ is doubling down on sports coverage despite a wider crackdown on costs.
