By Tina Morrison Dec. 22 (BusinessDesk) - The New Zealand dollar advanced in light trading heading into the Christmas holiday period, after weaker US economic data weighed on the greenback. The kiwi rose to 67.67 US cents at 8am in Wellington, from 67.49 cents at 5pm yesterday. The trade-weighted index gained to 73.73 from 73.56 yesterday.
