By Paul McBeth June 17 (BusinessDesk) - The New Zealand dollar extended its gain against the greenback from the tail-end of last week ahead of data which will likely augur well for the local economy and as the US Federal Reserve prepares to review monetary policy. The kiwi rose to 80.80 US cents at 5pm in Wellington from 80.58 cents at 8am and 80.39 cents on Friday in New York. The trade-weighted index gained to 74.78 from 75.40 last week.
