NZ dollar heads for 0.4% rise this week as traders weigh up interest rate outlook

By Paul McBeth Nov. 13 (BusinessDesk) - The New Zealand dollar is heading for a 0.4 percent gain this week as traders weigh up the prospect of lower domestic interest rates against the growing likelihood of higher rates in the US. The kiwi traded at 65.42 US cents at 5pm in Wellington from 65.18 cents on Friday in New York last week. It traded at 65.27 cents at 8am, and was little changed from 65.57 yesterday.
