NZ dollar holds above 73 US cents on US election jitters; traders dial back chances of RBNZ rate cut

By Jonathan Underhill Nov. 3 (BusinessDesk) - The New Zealand dollar rose above 73 US cents for the first time in a month amid jitters about the US election next week and a slight reduction in bets that the Reserve Bank will cut interest rates at its next review. The kiwi traded at 73.08 US cents as at 5pm in Wellington from 72.20 cents late yesterday. The trade-weighted index climbed to 78.29 from 77.63 yesterday.
