NZ dollar recovers vs yen, greenback as North Korea fears ebb

By Jonathan Underhill Aug. 30 (BusinessDesk) - The New Zealand dollar rose against the yen and the greenback as fears eased that North Korea's firing of a missile over Japan’s northern island of Hokkaido would lead to escalating tensions on the Korean peninsula. The kiwi climbed to 79.56 yen as at 8am in Wellington from 78.58 yen late yesterday. The kiwi rose to 72.51 US cents from 72.25 cents.
