By Paul McBeth March 14 (BusinessDesk) - New Zealand Police has taken up a $1 buyback option for software it sold to failed developer Wynyard Group in 2012.  Assistant commissioner Jevon McSkimming said in an emailed statement that the law enforcement agency had "exercised our right to buy back the IP rights for EVE (Environment for Virtualised Evidence)".
