Meridian Energy and NZ Windfarms have agreed to form a 50-50 joint venture for a half-billion-dollar-plus project to repower and extend the Te Rere Hau windfarm near Palmerston North.As part of the deal, Meridian will take a 13% stake in NZ Windfarms, with an option to increase that to 19.99%.
