NZX debt market value jumps 41% after LGFA lists all its local government bonds

By Jonathan Underhill Nov. 16 (BusinessDesk) - The value of debt securities traded on the NZX debt market has jumped by 41 percent after the Local Government Funding Agency listed all of its $5.56 billion of bonds. The listing of the bonds, which range in maturity from 2017 to 2027, swells the market capitalisation of the NZDX market to about $19.1 billion from $13.5 billion.
