October house sales jumped 15.5% on 2017 as house prices remained contained

However volumes of houses sold jumped 15.5 percent from last October to the highest number in five months. The latest Real Estate Institute of New Zealand’s house price index shows prices nationally rose 3.8 percent in the year ended October but fell 0.4 percent in Auckland.
