At the moment, Air New Zealand is surviving on the government facility of $1.5 billion.As well as providing much-needed liquidity, its availability and terms give the board confidence to continue trading.The plan is for the airline to get some longer-term funding in place, raising capital via a combination of new debt and equity. A successful capital raise will allow repayment of the government loan and set the airline up to move towards resuming normal service as borders reopen.Investors in the company will have been pleased to see the go...
