For the first time in forever, the nominal fees and expenses collected inside KiwiSaver have fallen year on year.As detailed in my annual statistical extravaganza published last week, total gross KiwiSaver costs fell from about $720 million for the 12 months to March 31, 2022, to just $660m in the latest financial period – the 16th in the historical series.The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) KiwiSaver 2023 report due out today will show a similar result, which should please the regulator after its concerted ‘value for money’...
