The death last week of US tech entrepreneur Tony Hsieh is tragic on so many levels. Hsieh, the co-founder of the massive online shoe retailer Zappos.com, which was sold to Amazon in 2009 for US$1.2 billion, resigned from Zappos in August after 20 years as chief executive. He was about to start his next chapter as a cashed-up entrepreneur and fulltime tech investor.
