Fast-track panels to be set up from Feb 7

In less than a month, developers who had their projects listed in the Fast-track Approvals Act will be able to apply for approvals from expert panels.The act, which attracted criticism from environmental groups and others, is intended to speed up the delivery of regional and nationally significant projects by establishing a one-stop shop for consents and other pre-construction approvals. As the Government announced in October, ministers agreed on 149 projects to be scheduled in the act, meaning those developers are eligible to apply to the...
