Methanex says cutting back its methanol production in New Zealand due to gas shortages has increased global greenhouse gas emissions and it fears local industry is being phased out by policy.NZ’s largest gas user has told the sector regulator – the Gas Industry Company (GIC) – it had serious concerns about current market settings.
