Only New Zealand citizens will be allowed to make donations to political parties under policy changes to ban foreign donations higher than $50. New law to implement the change will be rushed through Parliament this afternoon under urgency.Justice Minister Andrew Little announced the change as necessary to "protect New Zealand from foreign interference in our elections."Also banned will be anonymous online political advertising.
