Cabinet minister Nanaia Mahuta has asked for concerns over contracts her husband’s consulting firm has with government agencies to be raised with the Public Service Commission.Mahuta raised the matter with public service minister Chris Hipkins on Sept 19, who in turn made a request to the commission.Mahuta told Hipkins she had “been assiduous” regarding declaring her potential conflicts of interest as a government minister but she was concerned about how agencies were managing such conflicts in relation to her husband’s...
