The government is making it easier for Ukrainians with visas to stay in or return to New Zealand.Immigration minister Kris Faafoi said Ukrainians in NZ on temporary visas due to expire before the end of the year would get an automatic 12-month extension.This would provide more certainty at a time when their country was being invaded and they may not be able to return home, he said.About 300 Ukrainians were in NZ on temporary visas, including 140 whose visas were due to expire before the end of the year.Ukrainians overseas with NZ visas would al...
