Port of Auckland has secured the first consents under the Fast-track Approvals Act for a major wharf upgrade needed to future-proof its operations.The port company is planning around $400 million of capital projects over the next four years, including roughly $200m associated with wharf expansions: a new 330-metre wharf at the northern end of the Bledisloe terminal to accommodate larger cruise ships and a 45m extension to an existing wharf at the Fergusson container terminal.The $200m also covers dredging and a new cruise terminal.Port of Auckl...
