The final carbon auction of the year is on Wednesday amid uncertainty about future emissions trading scheme settings and other political unknowns.The year’s fourth auction is offering 4.82 million New Zealand Units (NZUs) with the cost containment reserve soaked up previously.Since the last auction cleared at $85.40, prices on the secondary market spiked as high as $88.50.
