New research from AUT’s business school said one in five workers surveyed in May 2022 were burnt out.  The ongoing study on New Zealand workers considers four factors: emotional exhaustion, feelings of indifference to work, trouble staying focused and a lack of emotional control. Workers who score highly across all four factors are considered burnt out.Jarrod Haar’s survey of 1,000 NZ workers found even more – one in three – were burnt out in November 2021, while in April 2021 the figure was one in five.In May...
