The government has introduced draft legislation to create sector-wide minimum employment standards, with a bill expected to pass later this year.Workplace relations minister Michael Wood announced on Tuesday the government was introducing its Fair Pay Agreements (FPA) Bill to Parliament, a controversial policy Labour has campaigned on since the 2017 election.FPAs aim to set minimum pay and conditions across whole sectors or industries by setting a floor and creating a level playing field for employers already providing better conditions.Unions...
